Ray has over 40 years of photographic experience. In high school he even taught a photography class and worked on the school yearbook. He has done many weddings in the Detroit, Michigan area. His love of cars, motorcycles and technical drawing allowed him the opportunity to become a car parts illustrator and later on supervisor to automotive illustration department. In time, his skills landed several convertible top design positions. His photographic skills always gave him an edge and presentation talent needed for product development.
During his career Ray also found time to do competitive roller skating, become a ham-radio expert as well as motorcycle rider and racer, the camera forever recording all kinds of events. For a while he was a photo journalist for Cycle News and traveled all over the USA.
His travels as a Design Engineer and photographer have brought him to many world destinations such as Spain, France, England, Italy, Mexico and most recently Japan. From his travels he shot many fascinating images both business and for pleasure. Nature photography is intimate and dramatic coming from all seasons and weather conditions.
